We never complained about the chainsmoker in the apartment below us, the dogs that bark all day/night and the feces that you have to avoid all over the sidewalks, the mailboxes getting broken into and our mail and information getting stolen, the constant broken glass and child feces in the pool, or any other issue. We also had to move in to our unit without ever seeing it or touring (thanks, pandemic) and the unit we got was NOTHING like the photos online. $+ a month for "common area electric" and insane pet deposits for our elderly cat that literally just sleeps all day. We were charged $ every month for trash, even though we had to haul our own garbage down from the 4th floor across the property to a dumpster. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.Īnyway, don't live here. b) We were told we could leave a bit earlier as long as we paid the rent through the lease. We spoke to them in MARCH about leaving in August and signed the 5 month lease because a) we could not afford $4, rent every month. They are saying we never gave them notice that we were vacating. We were never called, emailed, notified via the payment portal (they deactivated our accounts when we left) We got that final invoice, paid it, and never heard from them again. We went into the office the DAY WE MOVED OUT to make sure we were good to go, and the person we spoke to checked our account, said we were good, and wished me luck in grad school (So sweet right?)Īnyway, we just got a letter from a collections agency saying we still owe panorama almost $2, that we literally have NO IDEA we owed. We payed everything and had a $0 balance in our active building portal. They told us we needed to pay a lease break fee of about two months rent, $3, instead of the rest of the rent and billed us for the partial August rent, the lease break fee, pet rent, and utilities for August. We told them at the beginning of July when I got accepted to grad school that we would be moving out of state in the middle of August. One of the people in the office said we should sign a 5 month lease, at $ per month, then just leave a month early and pay through the end of the term. We wanted to sign a 3 or 4 month lease (Panorama offers month leases) but they said that would increase our rent to $3,(!!!!) a month. Once our lease was up in May, we told the office we were moving because I was applied to graduate schools, but we were unsure of the exact timeline. My partner and I lived here for a year paying about $1.7k for our un-updated (contact paper over plywood cabinets and verging on broken appliances) 2 bedroom. Also all the amenities here are mind blowing. The staff is awesome!! The dog community is definitely a favorite of mine. "Love it here! Everyone is so welcoming and sweet. Glad to call Panorama at Arvada Ridge home!" The location of the complex is wonderful, I love being close to I- (only minutes to Denver or Red Rocks, and only minutes to Boulder) Having the hot tub and pool open year round is amazing too, also the dog park on site is a huge plus. Any time there is an issue they are quick to respond and always super helpful. "Martin and Chris (the maintenance guys) are great. Shout out to chris, wonderful tech and was very respectful." I was having problems with my faucet leaking and they fixed it within an hour of me telling them. I recommend living here, the staff and accessibility is outstanding.
